my favorite room out of all the places we stayed at in spain

another place we stayed there we had to share a bed one night...

one day we wanted to take a nap in a park and we followed signs to parque de ciencias. it ended up being a some grass, a path, and a gigantic billboard of shade, which we shared with two fashionable mullet sporting young spanish men and their dogs.

so many amazing empty building shells with wall paper and tiles still on the walls. i love this stuff.

so i am in this locutorio... using the internet, and they are playing 80s music... its great.
anyhow, here are photos from Toledo we went there last week. Now we are in Granada, but we are about to leave. Sadly we didn´t see the Alhambra because there were no tickets available for the days we were here... we still climbed up the roadways to it and saw what we could without a ticket. Tonight we are getting on a train to Valencia... the beach! i can´t wait.

we had to take a photo of the map on the streets because the terrible tourist map we bought didn´t even have the whole city on it, and we didn´t know how to get back to the busstation.

parque del retiro, a gorgeous huge park, but we kept getting hassled by drug dealers who wanted our phone numbers... the only people who spoke good english. we wonder what spanish girls say to keep them away...

there was an old woman with 3 or 4 dogs in the park at the prado she was awesome

i have a few more from madrid, then a day in toledo. also we have just arrived in granada and i expect there will be much much more here. i am enjoying this city even more than madrid, i think.
